Have you ever prayed the scriptures? Using verses from the Bible in your prayers can be a powerful way to enhance your connection with God. It lets us affirm our acceptance of his word into our life, along with giving us words during the times when we can’t express our thoughts. As we read, we can pray back verses that touch our heart in praise to God. It may take a little practice before it feels natural. Let your heart lead you in making the passage yours as you talk to God. This week I praised and thanked God for my relationship with him through this prayer based on 1 John 1:7-9, “Lord, if I walk in your light, then I will have fellowship with you, and the blood of your Son will purify me from all sin. Thank you, Lord, for this gift.”
Some people are beach or lake people. I have always been a river and mountain person. Wherever the place is that speaks to your soul, go there often!
"May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, and leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds."
